Co 2 enrichment and temperature inside a sealed grow room.
Ideal grow room temp with co2.
Do not let the room temperature get over 35 c 95 f as this hurts growth.
Best grow room temperature.
See figure 1 and as the temperature increases so does the rate of carbon fixation and plant growth.
For most indoor gardens the ideal temperature for the lights off period is 55 to 70 f 12 8 to 21 1 c.
1200 ppm of co2 can double your yield.
Many growers recommend you keep temps as high as 95 f 35 c when maintaining co2 levels around 1200 1500 ppm.
Another reason to use co2 is that it lets plants tolerate a higher temperature than their normally ideal temperature of 70 something that potentially works in favor of many growers.
Co2 ppm grow room temps.
The best grow room temperature during the flowering stage of growth is 68 75 degrees during the day and no more than 10 15 degrees cooler at night.
If the co2 concentrations are increased from ambient 300ppm to 1500ppm the change in the ratio of reactants to products will allow plants to continue to fix co2 into sucrose at leaf temperatures well above 27 c all the way up to about 36 c.
Ideal grow rooms are located underground since they take advantage of the insulating qualities of the earth.
In conclusion growers that install supplemental co2 systems get the most from their investment if they take the time to properly monitor their results.
Then you want to make the temperature is stable between 77 86 25 30 celsius.
This also means you want to bring the humidity up from 40 to 60 keep a close eye here that s quite humid.
You can bring up the co2 levels in the air to raise the metabolism of the plant up to 1500 ppm co2.
Adding an electric heater to warm up the garden at night goes a long way towards preventing problems and maintaining healthy growth rates.
Start date mar 14 2013.
Normally you want your garden to be a comfortable room temperature but when adding co2 at very high levels you want to keep temps above 85 f 30 c.
Best grow room temperature the best grow room temperature during the flowering stage of growth is 68 75 degrees during the day and no more than 10 15 degrees cooler at night.
Mar 14 2013 1 ok this is a question for your sealed room growers out there.
Temperatures above 85 f 29 c are not recommended even when using co2 enrichment in your garden though many people say you can go up to 90 f 32 c with c02.
With normal levels of co2 in a well vented space 90 degrees would seem to be the absolute max while 85 may be closer to optimum even with a great deal of light available.
What is the ideal day time temp when running your co2 ppm at 1500.
