Dual Link Cable 144hz

Hdmi nowadays most monitors tvs and graphics cards feature at least an hdmi 1 4 port which is enough for 144hz at 1080p 75hz at 1440p and 30hz at 4k.

I recently got the benq xl2411z monitor and i can t get the monitor to run in 144hz. Get it as soon as wed nov 4. I do not have the dvi cable it came with nor do i have a gpu that even has a dvi port on it. After looking around i am not sure any of the cables or adapters i looked at would even work.

I need to go from display or hdmi from my gpu to dual link on the monitor. I have a monitor im trying to use that will only support 1080p 144hz over dual link dvi. Displayport cable is the best for a 144hz screen. Can this card run 144hz on my monitor at all. I m a noob when it comes to pc s but i figured that a high tier graphics card like the 480 would easily be able to run 144hz when a lower tier gpu like the 750ti could with a dual link dvi cable.
